Inspiration - fall Festival

...it's a wrap!


there's not much better than wrapping-up the summer read on the front porch listening to the crickets sing their song; seeing the sun dappled through the trees; and being tucked into the comfort of an alicia adams light-weight alpaca throw.

you see...it's a friday morning on one of the last days of summer and there's a slight chill in the air to let us know fall is on its way.  and the acorns are beginning to bounce off the roof.

and yes, we can't wait for the routine of classes to begin.  and yes, we've already made some preparation to gather school supplies.  and yes, finding out everyone's schedule to see how many classes you have together or if you share lunch period with friends or where you can fit in a workout session.  and yes, no matter how excited we are...we still want to slow the clock to capture the final moments of 'free' time.  of course none of our leisure has to end, we just have to be more clever about carving out a little piece of time for ourselves.


ps...our summer reads were 'The Borgias' by G.J. Meyer, 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelley, 'Jet Set, The People, the Planes, the Glamour, and the Romance' by William Stadiem, and 'Killers of the King' by Charles Spencer.
